The idea behind Mein Wortschatz
As a German language teacher, I experience time and again in my language courses that new vocabulary is not written down and no vocabulary book is kept. As a result, new words are usually only heard once and are therefore not memorised in the long term. Eventually, the mountain of unlearnt language knowledge grows so much that you no longer believe in yourself and your ability to learn languages. To prevent this from happening, I have developed Mein Wortschatz.
